Three endpoints, three different questions
Disintegration describes the physical breakup of a dosage form. Dissolution concerns a substance going into solution. Absorption concerns uptake into the body. One observation cannot substitute for all three.
Describe the method
A meaningful disintegration result includes the test medium, volume, temperature, sample dimensions, number of units and the definition of the endpoint. A video without these conditions is difficult to compare.
Match the claim to the evidence
A film that breaks up quickly does not, by that observation alone, demonstrate a particular absorption pathway, bioavailability or onset of action. Any such statement needs the appropriate product-specific study.
Design the evaluation around the project
The right development questions depend on ingredient, formulation, intended use and product category. Agree the endpoints before choosing the demonstration.
