H&L BIO / INFORMATION

Privacy notice

Effective date: 22 October 2026

This notice explains how H&L BIO Co., Ltd. handles personal information through www.hlbio.kr and related business enquiries about oral film, oral strip and freeze-dried tablet development. This website presents our technologies and supports business collaboration.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

H&L BIO Co., Ltd. is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact us using the details below. Please use “Privacy request” in your email subject.

  • Email: kyoun@hlbio.kr
  • Telephone: +82 32-571-6888
  • Address: 43-1, Geonji-ro 121beon-gil, Seo-gu, Incheon, Republic of Korea
  • Korean address: 인천광역시 서구 건지로121번길 43-1

2. Information we collect

Project enquiries. Our contact form requires your name, company, email address, target market or country, technology of interest and project message. We also record the submission time, privacy-consent time, follow-up status and notification status. These records are stored privately in our website database and are accessible to authorised website administrators.

Email correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message, signature and any attachments.

Technical information. Our hosting and security systems may record connection information such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser information and errors for website operation and security. The enquiry form also uses a keyed, hashed identifier derived from the connection IP address to limit repeated submissions. The application rate-limit record expires after ten minutes; this does not determine the retention of separate server logs.

Please provide only information needed to discuss your project. Do not submit patient information, health records, government identifiers or other sensitive personal information. Share confidential formulas or proprietary process information only after agreeing an appropriate confidential exchange process.

3. Why we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss the technology, formulation, target market and support you are seeking.
  • To assess a potential collaboration, arrange follow-up discussions and manage related business correspondence.
  • To maintain the website, prevent spam and misuse, investigate technical issues and protect our systems.
  • To handle privacy requests and meet applicable legal obligations.

When you submit the contact form, we ask for your consent to collect and use the required details for your enquiry and to contact you about that project. You may decline to provide them or withdraw your consent, but we may then be unable to process or continue the enquiry. The form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. Where another legal basis applies to requested business steps, security or record-keeping, we process information on that basis as permitted by applicable law.

4. Service providers and access

We use GoDaddy for our company email service. These providers support hosting, storage, message handling and related technical operations on our behalf. Website enquiries may be included in notification emails addressed to our company mailbox. The consultation panel links to our information, contact form and email; it is not a live-agent chat service.

Access within H&L BIO is limited to people authorised to handle enquiries, website administration and related business or privacy matters. We do not sell enquiry information. We do not provide it to independent third parties for their own marketing. Information may be disclosed where required by law or to address a lawful request, or with your separate permission where required.

5. Where information is processed

The website database is hosted in the Republic of Korea. Email handling and service-provider support may involve processing outside Korea, depending on the email product and the provider’s service arrangements. The website hosting location does not mean that all copies of emails or service-provider records remain in Korea. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry. Where applicable law requires specific information, consent or safeguards for an overseas transfer, those requirements must be met before that transfer.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain project-enquiry information during the enquiry and for 12 months after the enquiry is closed, then delete it or anonymise it so that it no longer identifies you. This period applies to enquiry records and related correspondence under our control. If the enquiry leads to a contract, records needed for that relationship are retained for the applicable contractual and legal purposes. Where a specific legal obligation or legal claim requires longer retention, the relevant information is retained only for that purpose.

Technical security records and backups follow their operational retention cycles. Deleted information may remain in restricted backups until those copies are overwritten or expire; it is not used for ordinary enquiry follow-up. Information restored from a backup is subject to the same deletion requirements. Electronic records are deleted or anonymised, and paper copies, if any, are securely destroyed.

7. Cookies, browser storage and search tools

The current website does not use advertising trackers, Google Analytics or a third-party live-chat tracker. WordPress uses necessary cookies for administrator login and site administration, and may use functional browser storage to check browser capabilities. WordPress may request emoji resources from its external CDN when a browser needs them. You can control cookies and site storage through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect administrator access.

We use Google Search Console to understand how the website appears in Google Search. Search Console verification and sitemap submission do not themselves install an analytics tracker on visitor pages. Links to external websites and your own email application are subject to their respective privacy practices.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, suspension or restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent. Where applicable, you may also have rights to object to processing or receive a portable copy of your information.

Send requests to kyoun@hlbio.kr. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity before responding; please do not send identity documents unless we specifically request a secure method. If a request cannot be fulfilled because of a legal requirement or another applicable exception, we will explain the reason. You may also raise a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission in Korea or the data-protection authority available to you under applicable law.

9. Security

The website uses HTTPS for browser connections, administrator authentication and access controls for enquiry records. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please keep sensitive or confidential information out of the initial website enquiry.

10. Changes to this notice

We update this notice when our website or information-handling practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be notified through this website and, where required, by additional notice or consent.
